  Builds

What began as an alias for music evolved into something larger.MonoDeaf is a home for both sound and software — a place where digital worlds are built through design, code, and creativity.

Years of experimentation, persistence, and creativity have led to some incredible milestones I'm proud to call my own.

  Origin Story

In 2021, some music friends voiced an idea of starting a label together, so we did. We struck the same fork for every business to feel more real — a website. I had no f*#@ing clue how to make one, but didn't want to outsource, so I did what anyone else probably would've done...

Google'd.

What began as a search for a website became a years-long obsession with design, code, animation, and creating experiences on the web.

I enjoy exploring all kinds of creative tools, but Carrd remains one of my favorites. What many see as a simple website builder, I see as a developer playground — pushing its native controls and custom code capabilities far beyond their intended limits.

  Timeline

This timeline outlines the progression of my creative and technical growth over the years. Each stage reflects a shift in how I approached building for the web — from experimentation to execution.

2022Every project began as an experiment. Armed with little more than determination and a search engine, I spent countless hours dissecting existing websites, reverse-engineering components, and slowly uncovering how the web worked beneath the surface.

2024Exposure to more advanced tools and workflows revealed the architecture behind modern websites. Design systems, animation libraries, and structured development practices shifted my perspective from building pages to building experiences.

2025With a stronger technical foundation, the focus turned toward intentional design. Templates, systems, and reusable solutions became opportunities to refine a personal design language and establish a distinct creative identity.

2026Today, the pursuit continues. Each project serves as another opportunity to explore new ideas, challenge assumptions, and push the boundaries of what's possible within the browser.

Questions I've received most often — answered.

Do you take on commissions? At this time, I am not accepting commissions. However, you're welcome to browse my growing collection of Carrd templates at my templates store, where you'll find a variety of layouts, components, and experiments available to use in your own projects.

How do you design your Carrds?Every project starts with inspiration. I pull ideas from places like X, Pinterest, design showcases, and everyday interfaces, then blend Carrd's native elements with custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The goal is to create experiences that feel personal, interactive, and push the boundaries of what's possible within Carrd.

Do you share Carrd resources and tips?Absolutely. I regularly share Carrd resources, tutorials, experiments, and development tips on X(Twitter) and Stack. Whether you're just getting started or looking to level up your builds, you'll find plenty of useful tricks and inspiration there.
